Dublin city will have winter light events at 12 locations

General admission tickets for ‘Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights’ at Merrion Square Park have sold out in record time. Adult tickets cost €2 each and allow the admission of two children.

There are still Relaxed Viewing Tickets available for people who prefer a more relaxed environment. This includes those who identify as neurodiverse, and during the dedicated time slots, no music will be played, there will be more space, and a designated sensory unit away from lights and sounds.

Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights can be seen for free during December. at 12 other locations throughout the city centre with colourful projections and lighting displays, including Bank of Ireland College Green and the Central Bank Plaza.

A Children’s Art Competition for Primary School Children is being held, and the winning artworks will be projected onto Barnardo Square beside Dublin Castle. Three winners will receive a prize from the Lord Mayor and have their artwork featured on the Lord Mayor’s Christmas cards.
