Passengers traveling from Dublin airport to the US can use the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app to submit required information.
The app is available for download on Apple App and Google Play stores, allowing passengers to submit travel document, photo, and customs declaration information in advance.
Use of the MPC app streamlines the entry process, reducing passport control inspection and overall wait time.
Dublin Airport’s pre-clearance facility in Terminal 2 now offers the MPC app, benefiting over one million passengers annually by ensuring quicker processing times and less queuing.
Commenting on the news Graeme McQueen, media relations manager at daa, the operator of Dublin Airport, said: “the launch of Mobile Passport Control at our pre-clearance facility in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport is great news for the more than one million passengers who use it every year. The app means passengers are able to easily upload their documents in advance of arriving at the airport, which should mean quicker processing times, less queuing and more time to relax at the airport ahead of their flight to the US. We’re sure passengers are going to love it.”
