Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, along with the Dún Laoghaire Business Association, launches the Seaside Discovery Free Bus Tours, operating from Dún Laoghaire Harbour to Sandycove every 45 minutes daily over the Summer.

The initiative aims to provide a unique opportunity for tourists and locals to explore the beauty of the coastline, offering relaxation, adventure, and cultural experiences for everyone.

The free sightseeing bus service, running seven days a week, allows passengers to hop-on and hop-off at their own pace, with expert guided commentary highlighting iconic landmarks along the route.

The 12-week pilot programme targets cruise ship passengers but is open to all, with plans for evaluating demand and potential wheelchair accessibility in the future. Collaboration with the Dún Laoghaire Business Association aims to showcase the region’s offerings to various audiences.
