EasyJet has confirmed an order for 157 additional A320neo family aircraft.
The order includes 56 A320neo and 101 A321neo aircraft, with an upsizing of an existing order from A320neo to A321neo.
The agreement is part of easyJet’s fleet renewal and upgauging plan, aiming for more efficient and sustainable operations.
The A320neo Family is the most popular single-aisle aircraft globally, while the A321neo offers exceptional range, performance, and fuel efficiency.
This order allows easyJet to replace older aircraft with more efficient models, supporting their net zero roadmap and sustainable operations. The partnership with Airbus will help easyJet maintain its leading position at European primary airports. Both companies share a commitment to decarbonizing the aviation sector, with Airbus aiming for all its aircraft to operate with up to 100pc Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) by 2030.
