
Embraer reported strong growth in its third quarter results, 26 more deliveries compared to the same period in 2022, with deliveries in commercial aviation up by 50pc and in executive aviation by 22pc in the third quarter.
The firm order backlog at the end of the quarter reached US$17.8bn, marking the highest level in one year.
SkyWest ordered 19 new E175 jets, while Luxair ordered four E195-E2s. Air Peace and Binter also placed firm orders for E175 and E195-E2 aircraft, respectively. American Airlines signed a firm order for four new E175s.
The Executive Aviation segment had a strong backlog of US$ 4.3bn and a book-to-bill ratio of 1.5:1. The Phenom 100EX and autothrottle feature for the Phenom 300E were announced, and Embraer successfully tested the Phenom 300E and Praetor 600 on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
Embraer Services & Support’s backlog reached a record high of US$2.8bn, and Pool Program agreements were signed with several airlines.
In Defence & Security, the Portuguese Air Force’s KC-390 entered into service, and Austria and the Czech Republic selected the C-390 Millennium as their new tactical military transport aircraft. Negotiations with the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic have significant potential for Embraer Defence & Security.
