Embraer is experiencing delivery delays due to supply issues with General Electric’s CF34 turbofan engines, affecting E-Jet production.
The CF34 powers Embraer’s E170, E175, E190, and E195 jets, with 208 E175s on order as of mid-2025. Embraer aims to deliver up to 85 E-Jets in 2025, with approximately 30 E175s, each valued at around €41 million.
CEO Francisco Gomes Neto reported inconsistent engine part deliveries, with bottlenecks shifting across components. The delays impact Embraer’s production schedule, affecting airlines reliant on these regional jets for their fleets.
Francisco Gomes Neto shared: “This year it has been a big issue for us. General Electric is not delivering what we need. They are delivering late.”
