English cargo operator One Air conducted its first revenue flights between England and the US on January 18, 2025, with a B747-400(BDSF) flying from Nottingham East Midlands to New York JFK.
The operation was reported as smooth, with a 24-hour timeframe from booking to cargo delivery in New York.
One Air obtained its air operator’s certificate in 2023 and started operations with a single B747-400(BDSF), later adding a third freighter to its fleet.
The company has received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China to carry out cargo flights to select Chinese airports.
