The new Sligo Chess and Culture Festival is set to debut in Enniscrone from 30 January to 8 February 2026, expanding on the established Sligo Chess Tournament.
Organised by Sligo Chess Club, the 10-day event will feature tournaments, cultural activities, and community engagement, aiming to draw chess enthusiasts and visitors to northwest Ireland for a blend of sport and heritage promotion.
