A Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 collided with a stationary British Airways jet at Heathrow Airport while being towed, with no injuries reported.
The incident occurred at Terminal 3, where the Virgin jet clipped the wingtip of the BA plane, both of which had no passengers onboard at the time.
Virgin Atlantic has initiated a full investigation and is conducting maintenance checks on the aircraft involved, which has been taken out of service temporarily.
British Airways engineers are also examining their plane, and Heathrow Airport confirmed no passenger injuries and expected no ongoing impact on airport operations.
