Escape Lounges is set to open a new 135-seat facility at Edinburgh Airport next to gate 4 in spring 2025, inspired by the historical beauty and green spaces of the Scottish capital.

This will be the brand’s seventh location in the UK and the second outside of MAG’s Manchester Airport Group locations, following the reflagging of the Bristol Airport lounge.

The specific space to be occupied by the new lounge remains unclear, as the airport currently lists two existing lounges by gate 4: an Aspire lounge and a British Airways lounge undergoing refurbishment.

Linsey Jordan, head of retail at Edinburgh Airport, emphasised the lounge’s potential to enhance travel experiences and leave a positive impression of Scotland on departing guests.

Linsey Jordan, head of retail at Edinburgh Airport, shared: “We know many people like to start their travels with a touch of luxury, and the arrival of the new Escape Lounge will deliver yet more top-class experiences in our terminal. The fact this lounge will take inspiration from our capital city is particularly special as we leave a strong lasting impression of Scotland, and bid guests farewell in the best possible way. We look forward to working with our partners at Escape Lounges on the success of this fantastic space when it opens in 2025.”
