Etihad orders six A330-900 aircraft at Dubai air show

Etihad Airways ordered six A330-900 aircraft becoming a new A330neo customer at the Dubai Airshow.

The carrier added seven A350-1000 aircraft bringing its total to 27 and three A350F freighters increasing its commitment to 10. Etihad leased nine A330-900 and four A320neo family aircraft from Avolon for delivery in 2027 and 2028.

The A350 family offered 25% lower fuel burn and CO₂ emissions with up to 9700 nautical miles range. The A330neo reduced fuel burn and emissions by 25% with up to 8100 nautical miles range.

Antonoaldo Neves shared “These aircraft strengthen our operations across medium-haul, long-haul, and cargo.”
