Further Ryanair cancellations as Luton airport remains closed until 3pm

Flights into and out of Luton Airport are suspended until 3pm today after a fire in multi storey car park caused a partial collapse overnight.

Cancellations affecting Irish airports are

  • FR332, FR340, FR338, FR340 from Dublin to Luton cancelled
  • FR331 from Luton to Dublin cancelled
  • FR843 from Kerry to Luton cancelled
  • FR813 from Knock to Luton and FR812 from Luton to Knock cancelled
  • FR339 & FR341 from Luton to Dublin still scheduled
  • FR424 from Cork to Luton still scheduled
  • FR338 & FR342 from Dublin to Luton still scheduled

A statement from then airport said: “Emergency services remain on the scene following last night’s fire in Terminal Car Park 2.

Our priority remains supporting the emergency services and the safety of our passengers and staff. Therefore, we have now taken the decision to suspend all flights until 3pm on Wednesday 11th October.

Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport at this time, as access remains severely restricted.
