Flights to Donegal Airport have been exempted from the passenger cap in Dublin airport, confirmed by Minister of State for Transport, James Lawless, in response to concerns from local officials and residents.

The Donegal-Dublin Public Service Obligation (PSO) flight supports approximately 430 passengers who rely on it for health appointments, travel, and access to essential services in Dublin.

The exemption ensures that the twice-daily air service between Donegal and Dublin can continue without restrictions, maintaining vital connections for those in need of transport.
