
Flydubai has signed an MoU with Airbus for 150 A321neo aircraft becoming a new Airbus customer at the Dubai Airshow on 18 November 2025.
The agreement supported Dubai World Central expansion and aligned with Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The A321neo incorporated new engines Sharklets and cabin features for over 20% fuel and CO₂ savings. The aircraft enabled network development with greater efficiency and passenger comfort.
The A320 family operated with up to 50pc Sustainable Aviation Fuel with 100pc capability targeted by 2030.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum shared “This new agreement is not only about adding aircraft. It supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”
