A new housing estate has been approved for the site of the former Shannon Shamrock Hotel in Bunratty, near Bunratty Castle. The development faced opposition from local residents.
The project aims to address housing needs in County Clare. Permission was granted despite community concerns. The former hotel site will be transformed into a residential complex.
