Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is launching the Freedom Fare Price Promise, an early booking incentive that guarantees guests a cabin upgrade or onboard credit if prices for comparable cabins decrease after booking within the first four weeks of a cruise announcement.
This promise allows guests to choose their cabin grade, number, dining preferences, and table size, and it will initially be available for summer 2026 itineraries.
The summer 2026 itineraries include special cruises during the solar eclipse in August, along with trips to Iceland, Norway, England, Scotland and Ireland, featuring unique experiences like whale watching and exploring local cultures.
Key highlights from the program include four notable cruises, such as Balmoral’s 12-night “Wonders of Iceland with the Solar Eclipse” departing on August 6, 2026, and Borealis’ 14-night “Enchanting Landmarks of the Baltic” cruise leaving on June 4, 2026.
