The National Cycle Network plan aims to connect 85 cycling corridors across the country, creating a 3,500km network that would connect over 200 settlements with a population of over 2.8m people.
Minister Ryan has emphasized the importance of every Local Authority supporting the plan, warning that those who do not may face falling behind in the development of cycling infrastructure.
