Georgia Tech and Florida State University will kick off the 2024 college football season at Aviva Stadium on August 24, 2024.

The game will be televised on ESPN and is expected to attract around 3m live viewers from the US.

This is the first time that College GameDay will originate from outside the United States.

The event is expected to boost the Aer Lingus College Football Classic brand and provide opportunities for corporate partners to reach the North American market.

Notre Dame’s 42-3 win over Navy played in August 2023 averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 3.81m viewers on NBC, Peacock, and NBC Sports digital platforms, making it the series’ most-watched game in nine years.
