German investment manager Union Investment has put the Radisson Blu Hotel Barcelona Sagrada Familia on the market for an asking price of €90m. The Frankfurt-based fund has commissioned Colliers to handle the sale process. Union Investment acquired the 182-room four-star property four years ago for approximately €75m.

The asset is located next to Barcelona’s landmark Sagrada Familia. The property has been held within Union Investment’s open-ended real estate fund UniImmo: Europa. The divestment follows a similar move by the German manager who sold another Barcelona asset the Barceló Raval hotel for around €70m.

The sale forms part of a wider wave of hotel transactions in Spain’s tourism market. Barcelona hotel occupancy reached 83.7pc so far this year with Revenue per available room for the year to August 2026 up about 2.1pc on the same time last year. International investors continue to target Spanish hotel assets.
