So-called ‘ghost whisperer’ Helena B Scott will be giving a talk at New Ross Library on April 9 at 7 p.m., discussing the hidden story of Ireland’s most haunted house, Loftus Hall (now Ladyville House), located on the Hook Peninsula.

The real history of Loftus Hall is darker and more sinister than the popular tale of a game of cards with the devil, involving the Knights Templar, Freemasonry, and the Western Esoteric tradition.

Scott, a writer, historian, linguist, and psychic investigator, specializes in secret history and medieval history, with a focus on the Knights Templar. She will have signed copies of her book available for purchase.

Booking is essential for the event at New Ross Library and additional support for participation can be arranged by contacting the library.
