Greg O’Hara, Founder and Senior Managing Director of Certares and fourth generation Mayo man, takes over as chair the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), starting later this month.
O’Hara has been a member of WTTC’s executive committee since 2019 and has served as vice chair since 2021.
Certares, O’Hara’s private equity firm, owns Internova Travel Group and has investments in several travel industry companies, including G Adventures, Brightline, American Express Business Travel Group, and LATAM Airlines. O’Hara also holds leadership roles at American Express Global Business Travel and TripAdvisor.
