Dublin airport have launched their mascot and have asked social media users to suggest a name.
Suggestions include “Dubby” “Hare Rianta” and “Collin”.
Travel Extra’s suggestion is the modern Irish word for hare, giorria, or even giorrianta. The old Irish word for hare was Mil máige, animal of the plains (planes).
