Handshake Speakeasy, Mexico City was celebrated as The World’s Best Bar 2024 at a live awards ceremony in Madrid.

The World’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, is organised by the same organisation behind the world’s 50 best restaurants. 

Handshake Speakeasy, Mexico City

A hidden gem behind a nondescript black door in the Colonia Juárez neighbourhood, Handshake Speakeasy was awarded the title of World’s Best Bar. Its luxurious black marble and rich brass detailing creates an ambiance of Hollywood glamour. With a moody atmosphere and an astonishing cocktail menu, it’s a perfect date-night destination for cocktail connoisseurs looking for a unique experience. Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico City features a 1920s Prohibition theme but distinguishes itself with its innovation in molecular mixology.
