The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has published its decision on an Irish air navigation services performance plan setting performance targets and key objectives for air navigation services in Ireland.
The workplan will begin by developing the issues paper for the fourth reference period (RP4) 2025-2029, which is set to be published in December.
The process will end with the submission of the Draft RP4 performance plan and the publication of the IAA’s final decision on the performance plan.
The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) is now the single Irish National Supervisory Authority (NSA) responsible for aviation regulation in Ireland, following the dissolution of the Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) on May 1, 2023.
The draft and final business plans from AirNav Ireland (ANI) and MET ASD will be provided to the IAA in April and June 2024, respectively, allowing for stakeholder consultation.
The draft decision on the RP4 performance plan will be published in July 2024, followed by a consultation meeting in August and submission of the final plan by October 1, 2024.
