IATA announces lineup for World Cargo Symposium in Hong Kong, March 12-14

The IATA World Cargo Symposium (WCS) will take place in Hong Kong, China from March 12-14, 2024. The agenda for the event will focus on digitalization, sustainability, and safety & security in air cargo.

Keynote addresses will be delivered by industry leaders such as Ronald Lam, Cathay Group CEO, Willie Walsh, IATA’s Director General, and Marie Owens Thomsen, IATA’s SVP Sustainability and Chief Economist.

The event will feature speakers from various air cargo companies and organizations, including Cathay Pacific, Atlas Air, Jardine Aviation Services Group, WestJet, and Accenture, who will discuss topics related to the conference tracks.

Workshops will cover areas such as talent management, competency-based training, market segment performance improvement, cargo compliance, air cargo billing and settlement, and e-commerce efficiency.

The winner of the IATA FACE UP! Award, a competition for recent university graduates focusing on innovation in air transport logistics, will also be announced during the symposium.
