Naas Racecourse celebrates its centenary in 2024 with the release of a new book titled ‘The Centenary of Naas Racecourse’.
The book by Turtle Bunbury, winner of a Travel Extra travel writing award, explores the history of Naas Racecourse, its founding, notable events, and the influential role of women in its evolution, with Margaret McGuinness serving as its manager for almost forty years.
The book costs €50 and features stories and pictures of famous visitors to the racecourse over the years, including Hollywood stars, members of royalty, and figures from the horse racing world.
