Inchydorney regained its position as the Tripadvisor travellers choice best beach in ireland,,ceded to Inch last year, as six beaches from Kerry finished in the top ten. Currac loe, which finished second last year ahead of Inchydorney, dropped out fo the top ten as did last year’s fifth place, Brittas.
Travel Extra’s Eoghan Corry said: Tripadvisor awards reflect where the majority of North American visitors are likely to go, hence you would expect the south west to dominate. The absence of northern and east coast beaches and the decline of Curracloe are nethertheless a surprise.
