IndiGo and Aegean have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a codeshare partnership, pending regulatory approval.
The partnership enables Aegean’s “A3” code on IndiGo’s network, enhancing access to India and South Asia, while IndiGo’s “6E” code will be added to Aegean’s domestic and European flights from Athens. IndiGo plans to launch six weekly flights to Athens in January 2026, while Aegean will operate five weekly flights to Delhi and three to Mumbai by March 2026.
The agreement offers customers integrated travel itineraries and through check-in for seamless travel between India, Greece, and Europe. The partnership aims to foster cultural and business exchanges between India and Greece, meeting growing demand for international travel.
Pieter Elbers shared: “We are pleased to announce our partnership with Aegean, marking a significant step forward in our mission to give wings to India and enhance global connectivity.”
Eftichios Vassilakis shared: “We are delighted to establish a strategic partnership with IndiGo, one of the fastest-growing airlines in the world.”
