IndiGo is to launch thrice-weekly flights from Mumbai to Copenhagen starting 8th October 2025, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners on wet lease from Norse Atlantic Airways.
The route, IndiGo’s 44th international destination, offers Economy and IndiGoStretch business class with hot meals, beverages, and 300 hours of in-flight entertainment.
Copenhagen serves as a gateway to the Nordic region, enhancing trade, education, and tourism ties for Indian travellers. IndiGoStretch provides extra legroom, reclinable seating, priority check-in, and curated amenities like sleep spray for long-haul comfort.
IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, operates over 2,200 daily flights and was named ‘Best Airline in India and South Asia’ by Skytrax in 2025.
Pieter Elbers shared: “With growing demand for travel between India and Northern Europe, we are delighted to connect Mumbai to Copenhagen, marking IndiGo’s entry into the Scandinavian region. This expansion strengthens our presence in Europe, offering Copenhagen as a gateway to the Nordic region for Indian travellers. With every new international destination – Copenhagen being our 44th – we are inching closer to our vision of being a trusted global airline, giving wings to the nation, and increasingly to the world.”
