County Antrim hosts five Italian travel writers

Five Italian travel journalists have visited Ireland, with their articles set to reach an audience of over 1.5m readers across Italy.

Their itinerary included a detailed exploration of Derry, featuring walking tours and visits to museums like the Peacemakers Museum and the Tower Museum.

On their way to Belfast, they travelled the Causeway Coastal Route, stopping at key attractions such as the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and Mussenden Temple.

In Belfast, they toured the Ulster Museum, attended a concert by the Ulster Orchestra, enjoyed local cuisine at St George’s Market, and explored the historic sites of the Titanic quarter.

Marcella Ercolini, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Italy, said “the print and online articles produced by these journalists will reach over 1.5m people across Italy – inspiring their readers to choose Northern Ireland for future holidays.”
