Irish Air Corps takes delivery of Falcon 6X aircraft

Irish Air Corps has taken delivery at Baldonnel of a Falcon 6X aircraft to serve as a government jet for Vip services. 

The aircraft cost €53 million plus VAT replacing an older Learjet 45.

Helen McEntee, Minister for Defence shared “The delivery of the Dassault Falcon 6X strategic reach aircraft represents a significant enhancement of the State’s transport, airlift and medical capabilities, and is further evidence of the Government’s ongoing commitment to enhance the capabilities of our Defence Forces.”
