Darren Geraghty, Head bartender at No 5 Piano bar on Dublin’s Merrion Row, has placed in the global top 15 at the World Cocktail Competition.
He also won Cocktail of the Year in the Classic Cocktail: After Dinner category.
The competition in Cartagena, Colombia featured over 70 nations. Geraghty previously won Best Cocktail Experience at the Irish Restaurant Awards in 2025. The achievement was supported by sponsors Monin and Michael Ingle.
Darren Geraghty shared, “Not only was I honoured to win the Irish cocktail competition at the Irish Restaurant Awards, I am truly honoured to represent Ireland on the world stage.”
