Is four hours as long as a low cost passenger would fly? Simon’s poll suggests so

A poll conducted on Twitter/X by Simon Calder for the London Independent revealed that two-thirds of respondents will not fly for more than four hours on low-cost airlines.. 

One in nine would fly for up to six hours and a quarter have no concerns at al how long is the flight. One in seven shared that they would not fly for longer than two hours.

Low Cost sector lengths are getting longer. 

Ireland’s longest low cost flight is EasyJet’s a six hour flight from Belfast International to Hurghada on Egypt’s Red Sea coast. 

The longest Ryanair flight, from Warsaw Modlin to Tenerife South, takes just five minutes short of six hours.

Wizz Air plans to fly a route from London to Jeddah, taking about seven hours.
