Jane McDonald is to showcase Uniworld in an upcoming English TV series.

In a brand new four part series from Channel 5, which premieres tonnight (Friday 10 February), former Loose Woman and Cruise Chanteuse Jane McDonald gets back onboard and sets off on four cruises she’d never have booked herself in ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’.

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection’s award-winning Super Ship, the S.S Maria Theresa, plays a leading role in Episode Three (airing on 24 February 2017), which sees Jane cruise down the Danube on the Enchanting Danube itinerary.

Experience life onboard one of the world’s most luxurious ships sailing on Europe’s waterways, and through the breadth of on board activities and shore based excursions that are included as part of a Uniworld all-inclusive river cruise.

Uniworld includes all onboard dining and unlimited dining in style. With treats including a massage on deck as part of Uniworld’s comprehensive ‘Wellness on the Water’ programme.  Then there’s the magical scenery that Jane glides through while living in the lap of luxury.

Throughout the series, Jane also boards a mega-cruise ship from Miami to the Caribbean with MSC, takes an intimate trip round the Inner Hebrides aboard a converted trawler with The Majestic Line, and experiences a Cold Water Cruise of Alaska with Holland America Line. An ode to each of the cruises, the episodes close with a musical number by Jane herself.

For a taste of Jane’s adventure, passenegrs can travel with Uniworld aboard the SS Maria Theresa on the Enchanting Danube luxury river cruise. The eight day sailing takes in Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and Passau, travelling past the stunning scenery of the Wachau Valley. Uniworld’s special Monarch Collection departures include a private champagne reception with Princess Anita von Hohenburg at Artstetten Castle alongside exclusive insider access to Europe’s rich aristocratic heritage
