Jet2 Airlines has officially retired its entire B757-200 fleet, comprising three aircraft—G-LSAE (msn 24135), G-LSAI (msn 24016), and G-LSAK (msn 27973)—which were moved to long-term storage at St. Athan between January 2 and 8.
This retirement signifies the conclusion of active passenger B757 operations in the United Kingdom, leaving only four B757-200(SF) freighters still operating, currently managed by DHL Air.
Jet2’s phased-out B757 fleet had an average age of 34 years, with G-LSAE and G-LSAI entering service in 2006, and G-LSAK joining in 2010, as the airline transitions to newer Airbus narrowbody jets.
Following the retirement, Jet2’s updated fleet consists of 117 aircraft, which includes three A321-200s, thirteen A321-200NX, seven B737-300s, ninety-three B737-800s, and one A330-200 wet leased from AirTanker, with an order pending for 134 A321-200NX from the parent company Jet2 plc.
