Jet2 is planning to cut 350 resort and airport jobs in Spain

The company is proposing talks with staff representatives on ‘mass redundancies’ following a review of its operations

The Resort Flight Check-in service, which allows hotel guests to check in luggage ahead of their flight home, will reportedly be downsized or scrapped

Nearly 1,000 staff at Jet2’s airport bases in Alicante, Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura have been sent notices for redundancy talks, with the company looking to cut about 35pc of these positions.
