June bank holiday weekend activities in Dublin include:

  • Balbriggan Summerfest: Scheduled from May 27th to the June Bank Holiday Weekend, offering events such as a Vintage Fair, Balbriggans Got Talent, The Great Balbriggan Bake Off, Summerfest 5k Road Race, Pet Show, Sandcastle Competition, Blessing of the Boats, Senior Citizen’s Tea Party and Bingo, Live music, Fireworks, and Carnival.
  • Bloom: Celebrating its 18th birthday, the Bord Bia Bloom will take place from May 30th to June 3rd, offering a showcase of gardening, landscaping, food, and culture across 70 acres in the Phoenix Park.
  • Craic Den Comedy Club at Workman’s Club, hidden comedy club with shows on Friday and Saturday night during the bank holiday weekend, acts include Aaron McCann, Lesly Martinez, and Martin Angolo and performances by talented comedians in a vibrant night-time setting.
  • Dalkey Vintage Festival: June 3rd, 2024 at Dalkey Town Centre in south Dublin features classic cars like Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Triumph, and Lancia, activities include live music, children’s entertainment, an Ireland Formula 1 simulator, and more.
  • Fifty years of the Irish in Britain Exhibition at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, showcasing personal stories of the Irish community in Great Britain over the past 50 years features audio-visual experiences and contributions from notable Irish cultural figures, highlighting the journey, struggles, and triumphs of the Irish community in England. 
  • Forbidden Fruit: Forbidden Fruit is Dublin’s first city-centre festival, happening on June 1st and 2nd at the Irish Museum Of Modern Art, featuring acts like BICEP, Nia Archives, Nelly Furtado, and Four Tet.
  • Skerries Midsummer Festival: Set on the South Strand in Skerries from May 31st to June 3rd, the festival will include children’s rides, street food vendors, a Sandcastle Competition, live music, and a KidsZone with various activities.
  • Storytelling Performance of Irish Myths and Legends scheduled at Sin é pub in Dublin city centre by Sean Cuddy, a storyteller in the old Celtic tradition from Dublin, an immersive experience of captivating Irish myths and legends
  • Wizard of Oz: May 28th to June 8th, 2024 at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre features a new production of the beloved musical with original score starring Craig Revel Horwood as The Wicked Witch Of The West
