Kenny Jacobs has finalised an exit agreement from DAA, with a payout close to €1 million. His departure follows tensions with the board, which have become public and contentious.

Jacobs, a former Ryanair executive, has served as DAA chief executive since January 2023. The government must ratify the agreement, which will lead to a new CEO for DAA.

Jacobs’ tenure included ambitious plans for aviation but faced operational criticisms and governance challenges.

Aviation industry representatives have expressed concern over the timing, amid DAA’s €2.4bn infrastructure plan and efforts to ease night flight restrictions.
