Kildare County Council is launching an online survey to gather information and views from people living, working, or visiting Naas as part of the Naas Canal Quarter project.
The Council aims to establish the Naas Canal Quarter as an attractive new town centre destination by revitalizing public spaces, developing underutilized sites and buildings, and improving pedestrian and cycling paths.
Supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage’s Urban Regeneration and Development Fund, the project aims to attract new businesses, create recreational opportunities, spark investment, and create a vibrant hub with a rich historical background.
The project focuses on transforming vacant and underused spaces into dynamic areas to attract investment and commercial activity while preserving and celebrating the area’s rich heritage through sensitive restoration of historic buildings and assets.
