KLM is trialing a new catering experience for economy class passengers on flights from Amsterdam to Lisbon, Porto, and Oslo, which will continue until April 2026.

Basic snacks such as water, tea, coffee, and a stroopwafel will be complimentary, while more substantial options can be purchased through a buy-on-board service.

Passengers may pay €7 for meals like a Club Sandwich or a tapas box, with soft drinks starting at €3.25 and a small bottle of wine costing €7.

The decision on implementing buy-on-board services across all European routes will be made after the trial period, as KLM seeks to increase revenue in a competitive market.
