
Korean Air has received its first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner and will perform its inaugural flight with this new aircraft type on 25 July from Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita.
The 787-10 features a new Prestige Class cabin with enclosed suites, wireless phone charging, in-flight wifi, and 24-inch entertainment screens with Bluetooth audio support.
The aircraft has a maximum range of 11,175 kilometers and is configured with 325 seats, including 36 Prestige Class suites and 289 economy class seats.
The 787-10 will initially be deployed on short-haul routes for familiarisation before being used on long-haul routes such as Seoul Incheon-Vancouver. Korean Air is also resuming and adding capacity on several Northeast Asia routes.
