The Lanzarote Ireland Network hosted a special VIP Reception at The Mansion House in Dublin to honour Oswaldo Betancort, President of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, along with his delegation.
Each year, over 300,000 Irish visit Lanzarote, making it the most popular destination among the Canary Islands for travelers from Ireland.
reland is the third largest inbound market with 9.5pc behind England (45pc) and Germany (13.75pc) and ahead even of mainland Spain (8.9pc).
The reception aimed to celebrate and promote tourism opportunities, fostering collaboration and investment opportunities between the two regions.
