Lebeen Park in Longofrd plans to introduce an eco-friendly outdoor sauna by Firecracker Sauna Ltd, aimed at providing wellness services along with changing room and reception facilities.
The proposed sauna facility will offer online booking, have designated opening hours on weekends, and is envisioned as both a tourist attraction and a community wellness resource focused on relaxation and nature connection.
Lebeen Park, established in 2003 in Aughnacliffe, is a premier recreational destination featuring walking trails, outdoor gym facilities, and playgrounds, all overlooking Lough Lebeen.
The park has benefited from state funding through the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS), allowing for growth and the recent addition of a 4.2km walkway opened in September.
