Letterkenny Courthouse is to be developed as a significant tourist attraction as part of the Letterkenny 2040 regeneration strategy, enhancing visitor numbers to the town and the Northwest region.

Major of Letterkenny-Milford, Cllr Kevin Bradley, emphasizes the project’s potential to become an outstanding tourist site showcasing Letterkenny and County Donegal’s culture and heritage.

EPIC Heritage Consulting Ltd, an award-winning consultancy, along with other specialists, has been appointed to develop this project, seeing great potential in the Courthouse for a compelling tourist experience.

Funded by the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF) under Project Ireland 2040, the project will integrate with Letterkenny’s broader regeneration plans, including infrastructure improvements and high-quality office spaces, with public engagement opportunities starting January 2024.
