The London Competition and Markets Authority cleared Boeing’s planned acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems without an in-depth investigation.
Boeing’s all-stock deal to acquire Spirit AeroSystems is valued at USD4.7m and aims to enhance quality control.
In July 2025, Boeing agreed to assume a portion of Spirit’s operations located in Belfast City.
The majority of Spirit AeroSystems’ business was sold to Airbus, separating the operations discussed in the deal.
