Plans for the London War Time Tunnels aim to create a tourist attraction that will cost around £120m, targeting 3m visitors each year at €33 a head have been revealed to journalists.

The tunnels were used as spy headquarters in 1944, where Ian Fleming was known to work for naval intelligence, inspiring elements of the James Bond series.
The subterranean area includes remnants of a staff bar and canteen from when it operated as a telephone exchange, accommodating around 200 personnel.
Since the 1970s, much of the tunnel network has remained unused.
