Longford has launched a new audio tour along its 73km Literary Trail, celebrating the county’s rich literary history.
The audio tour features interviews with locals and dramatic excerpts read by actors from Longford’s Backstage Theatre.
It includes locations connected to famous writers such as Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, Maria Edgeworth, and Oliver Goldsmith.
The addition of audio to the trail enhances the visitor experience and brings the county’s literary legacy to life, with options to listen in English and Irish.
