Longford releases more details of the Dead of Night Festival

Longford County Council announced the return of the Dead of Night Festival for 2024, taking place from October 26 to October 28, culminating in a free Fire and Shadows Procession on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Samhain Town family event at Connolly Barracks on October 26 and 27 will feature spooky entertainment acts, a haunted house, and a pumpkin patch, with tickets priced at €5 per child, including free admission for one adult.

The Fire and Shadows Procession on October 28 will start at 7 PM and feature floats telling the story of local legend Midir and Étain, created by Longford artists and involving 100 local performers alongside Spraoi Waterford.
