Lufthansa is enhancing its long-haul business class service with additions including specially created breads, a new Avionic Aperitif, vegetarian amuse-bouche, fresh fruit desserts, and a snack offering for smaller appetites.
The airline will offer a new bread created quarterly by World Baker of the Year Axel Schmitt, and introduce the Avionic Aperitif featuring peach and wild meadow herb flavours.
Business class passengers will receive a vegetarian amuse-bouche and Lindt chocolates as a farewell gift starting from June.
Lufthansa has expanded its business class meal pre-selection offering, allowing passengers to choose from five main dishes between one month and 24 hours before departure. Heiko Reitz, chief commercial officer for Lufthansa Airlines, said: “the entire Lufthansa team is proud to present our new Business Class experience. Our culinary highlights, the celebration of German bread culture and the collaboration with traditional brands such as Ziegler for the new Lufthansa Aperitif Avionic underline the timeless elegance of our brand. The other new products that we will soon be introducing in various travel classes are further steps towards our goal of creating a whole new level of excitement for our passengers.”
