
Lufthansa is enhancing its Munich hub by transferring more long-haul routes from Frankfurt and establishing it as a base for the A380.
In summer 2025, Lufthansa’s City subsidiary will increase its flight offerings from Munich, utilising both A319 and A320neo aircraft.
Key destinations served by City include Barcelona, Berlin, Birmingham, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Rome Fiumicino starting in July.
The expansion aims to improve feeder flights for onward connections, allowing more efficient travel options for passengers.
